Southern hospitality at its finest. I am here visiting from Atlanta and came across this place. The staff is welcoming and attentive. I tried sausage gravy for the 1st time in 35 years and it did not disappoint. What better way to start the day than a little chocolate chip cookie Thank you to the staff for making my first time here a memorable one.

The food is delicious. The restaurant is in the middle of a bunch of little stores. It almost feels like you’re outside on a patio, but you’re inside. The staff is very friendly and they’ve all been there a long time I believe, our waitress said she was there when she was pregnant and we got to see her little boy and he’s a big boy. She’s super great. We’ve gotten her both times that we’ve gone together. We get the chicken salad and the antipasto salad and split them between the two of us. The full salads are huge so now we are getting one full-size salad and one half sized salad to split. Everything is fresh and delicious. They never let your drinks run out. There’s plenty of stuff to look at.

Abbey, our waitress was very nice. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with toast and a drink. It was very good. We made an inquiry about their creamy grits. Mmmm, definitely a must. I've never had grits like that. They were hot, creamy, and excellent. Please be sure to stop in. See the pictures I took while there. Its an old department store and they have small rooms with clothing inside each one. There are stairs to go up and there's more items. We couldn't go up, unfortunately, because my sister had had surgery a few weeks earlier and wasn't able to.There are 2- 4 person tables and there is a small room with more tables available. There are rules at the Cafe on Trade, which I have posted in the photos. You won't regret stopping by. We'll go back in a few weeks.

I love this place! I believe my server was Addie or Abby, she was awesome. Thanks for the sample cup of grits! Quiet place with great food and a caring staff.

Great little breakfast place. Try the omelets. Really good and the grits! The server was good, owners were friendly. Nice change. Don't expect it to be fast, it's not, so go when you have time to browse the boutiques while you wait or just have some time. Get a cookie before leaving, fabulous!

Absolutely fantastic. I adored the atmosphere here. It was unique and quiet, but the lovely staff were kind and lively. Being our first time, one of the staff (Eddie) brought us some samples of their grits, sausage gravy, and chocolate chip cookies. They were amazing. The gravy went wonderfully with the grits (and I dont even like grits), and the cookie was perfect. We ordered the Ruben, Philly Cheesesteak, pasta salad, potato salad, a half order of the chicken and cranberries salad to share, as well as a tomato basil quiche.Everything was amazing. And truly homemade! It was Fun and exciting trying new dishes! Their flavors were interesting and earthy, which I truly enjoyed. And healthier than some other places.Just don't forget the rule! This place makes everything to order, so don't come here if you're in a rush. Let them take their time preparing the meal, and you won't soon forget it. I will be returning with my family in tow, for another wonderful lunch.

This is a great cafe situated inside a small mall of stores. Very friendly staff and great food. This was our first time at the cafe and first time on Trade St in Greer. My wife, mother-in-law and I ate there for lunch. I had the Reuben sandwich, my wife had a typical egg breakfast with grits but with gluten-free bread, and my mother-in-law also had the egg breakfast with grits. All three were delicious. We were impressed with the creamy grits. We later asked the man behind the counter about the grits, and he said he himself makes them - with heavy cream. They were good! We also got some of their home made chocolate chips cookies to go, which the man said he also makes. They were really good. We highly recommend this cafe!
